Parent Teacher Child Learning Conversations

Parent Teacher Child Learning Conversations (PTCLC)

Family School Partnerships are integral to our Corpus Christi School Community.  Every child matters.  We know parents are the first and most important educators of their child.  As teachers, it is vital we work together with parents, carers and families to enable high student wellbeing and academic achievement.

The learning journey of every child at Corpus Christi is of paramount importance to us all. Research strongly supports the notion that working in partnership as school and home greatly increases the learning outcomes of students.

At the beginning of the school year our teachers enjoy meeting with families to get to know each other at our Family Conversations.  At the end of Semester One in June we have Parent Teacher Child Learning Conversations.  Parents and Carers may book their appointment time using our Parent Portal system.  PTCLCs provide a valuable time for you to meet and discuss any aspect of your child’s development.  We encourage children to be a part of the conversation and share their learning goals and achievements.  Of course parents / carers may contact their child’s teacher to negotiate a time to discuss their child’s learning anytime throughout the school year.
